We drove to Granada via Motril. We couldn’t get tickets to the Alhambra having tried the night before on the internet, so walked around the city after a good tapas lunch including excellent fried small green peppers which I had had in La Coruña. The cathedral is enormous with a very high dome. We walked through the Juderia (ironically seemed to be all Moroccan shops now) up to a great view of the Alhambra. We returned to the car along the river just as a massive procession was starting. Back in Almerimar the boys watched the Madrid - Barça Cup Final, Madrid won 2-0.
