Poor departure due to lack of communication over releasing mooring lines.   Bit of a scrape on hull, nothing serious.

Motored all the way to Tarifa (headwind and timing).  Went into Tarifa harbour with ferries shooting in and out.  Tied to harbour wall, but this was no place to stay overnight.  So left and went to Algeciras, arriving late.  Customs launch shadowed us and suggested tying up against west harbour wall by the Club Nautico.  Luckily there was one large horizontal fender we could tie up against, using long bow and stern lines to allow for tide (1.1m only). Excellent osso bucco (rabo de toro) done in pressure cooker, with Ribera del Duero and a Cotes du Rhone. Although Rhona & Charlie had to get home by Sunday night, we decided a day trip to Ceuta would be possible.
