Left Audierne 10.00, following the leading lines down the river. Virtually no wind, but glorious day. Motored a lot, then sailed up to the Glénans islands, famous for the sailing school founded by French resistance fighters after WWII. We picked up a buoy (not at our first attempt) at 17.30 and settled down to drinks & dinner. The spot is idyllic, quite well protected from all but northerly weather, and has the only coral beaches in Europe.
