Over to Motril fuel dock, fuel tank cap not in place. Big search, found under bunk outboard of tank! Long chat with old Marinero – “¿es un Swan?” etc. Apparently Motril is twinned with Albardon in Mendoza where a number of Motril immigrants settled. ‘Milano Blanco’ got him onto an old film, ‘Los santos inocentes’ where the landlord kills a milana (female kite) which matters a lot to the peasant who ends up killing the nasty landlord or something like that. “La pelicula tiene un argumento izquierdista” – the film has a leftist plot he wrily tells the apparently affluent boatowner!
