We set sail to San Feliu de Guixols. The sea was lumpy and unpleasant – seasickness persuaded us to stop in Blanes – a working port with a vast beach. We explored a little and returned to Milano Blanco for Doug’s delicious nibbles and the best music list on his iPod. Singing, dancing……

Friday 28  Tossa de Mar by car

Blanes in the rain. Sara went for a run and won the wet T-shirt contest. We hired a car and drove up the coast to Tossa de Mar. The weather cleared and we walked round the old walled town with glorious views of the coast. Back in Blanes we had a great farewell dinner in the Yacht Club. It was a delightful way to end our wonderful week with Deborah, Jamie and Doug.
