Wonderful sail along South coast of Portugal East of Cabo Raso, just West of Lisbon, moonlight and loads of coastal lights, cars etc. Slightly difficult approach to the Bay of Cascais as there were so many lights around that yachts at anchor were hard to see. However, Richard the bow lookout spotted everything, and we anchored at 03.00.  Went into the marina at 10.00 and after a bit of dicey manoeuvring tied up with the help of a local yacht owner. The Brit beside us didn’t surface until we were moored. Spent the day at Cascais, a very smart resort not far from Lisbon. The Lisbon Sunday visitors were here, queuing out of the shop and onto the pavement for Santini ice creams, this after we had failed to find Ô Rei do Frango de Cascais ( - Cascais King of the Chicken - or something like that that Kirty and I had visited in the 1980’s) so we settled for the Jardim do Frango which was OK, but not what I remembered at the R d F d C. Cooked a substantial dinner on board, trying to get rid of food before the end of the trip.
