A windless overnight return

Across the sea to mainland marina

Proved hot and noisy, ending

In an incident involving

Mooring lines and Milano’s prop.

Big Joe bravely dived and

Disentangled, while skip defused

The row.  Joanna meanwhile,

Kayboshed by the heat, retreated

To an airconditioned hostel

And the three remaining enjoyed

Tapas and the music of the

Streets, until it was the moment

Of goodbye.
