Tom, having done the highest job fitting a flag halyard on the starboard side spreader, now did the lowest, diving to free the prop. While he was in the water, we were vociferously in formed that no swimming was allowed but managed to keep the discussion going long enough for the line to be untangled. We were very relieved, as what they wanted to do was to have us dry out on the same concrete pad etc.

 

We left at 16.30 (high tide) and tacked to windward against a SW, sometimes S wind. The tide turned and became favourable and I had a magic sail through the moonlight weaving through the rocks and lights. The wind dropped but kept us going.
