clear blue skies in light winds but favourable for the passage to Cala de
San Vicente. The genniker was put to good use but half of the passage had to
be completed with the motor. After anchoring in the bay tea was taken and
three candles burnt on the birthday cake - see photograph. Both in this Cala
and in the Ensenada de la Canal, Spellbinder was one of only a couple of
yachts enjoying the early season free of the crowds.
