We pulled up our anchor Friday 3rd of April, 2009 at 9:24 am in search of another quite anchorage off Isla Del Ray in the las Paerlas Islands, Panama 8:16.751N 78:54.979W

We arrived to a small canoe waiting in the water for us, he must of seen us from a long way away and run off to collect a huge amount of fruit for us, after a little bartering we received the bag for $2. The mangoes are so far the best mangoes I have ever eaten, absolutely sweet and juicy

Next Dad and I check our diesel reserves and unfortunately we had used a lot more than we had anticipated, we put in forty liters and only manages to half fill our tanks so when we leave it means we are only able to use the engine to charge the battery’s. This is a little worry as we are in the doldrums and that means no wind.
