We pulled up our anchor  Wednesday 31st of December, 2008 at 12:50 pm and headed for Green IslandAntigua 17:04.18N 61:40.23W

T-Rex (Gazza, Macka, Del and Cath) an Australian yacht we meet in Gibraltar sailed up from St Lucia to spend NYE with us which was great. Old Bob finally made it into harbor with Dave and Emma in fine spirits we think! After being at sea since the two of us left Tarrafal in the Cape Verdes, Old Bob blew out 3 sails and sailed into harbor under a storm jib and the rear mizzen. Anyhow they had made it and Dave true to every word he had ever spoken about Antigua took us to Green Island in the north. It was amazing. That is all I can say about it. A fire on the beach each night to sing around and plenty of great people, beer and sand. I think from the pictures you can see it was your standard NYE party just in a great spot.

I just have to say that belonging to this club, that is the 30-50 foot sail boat club is an amazing experience because everyone you meet is so friendly, kind and helpful.
