Day 54 - Aveiro

We untied and pushed off
from the wall we moored to for the night, Sunday 14th September at
9:58AM and motor sailed back down the river headed for Aveiro 40:39.51N
8:43.79W It was an absolute
beautiful exit as we motored back down the route we came up the day before. The
whole pain of navigating out the small channel and bar today seemed like a
sinch compared with going into the unknown the day before. We just kept the
pedal to the medal and cruised on out only turning to wave to a few local
fisherman. The sea state was wonderful, perfectly flat and glassy as you could
possibly dream of. The only problem with all these fantastic things is that the
wind just so happened to not blow so we motored through out the day on our
relatively short hop down the cost to another anchorage. Anyhow we have a lot of
fun together no matter where we are and today was no exception. While we
motored along we danced, sang, listened to music, worked on the computer and
just be really silly in the comfort of our little floating home. Special comments by
Fiona:. Motoring along isn’t the best, but today it didn’t matter
as the sea was like a mill pond and the sun once again was shining. And yes we
provided our own entertainment by dancing, making up songs and generally being
stupid. How else does one pass the time? Not a lot to be said about Aveiro as
we didn’t make it to shore. Instead we enjoyed our safe anchorage, cooked up a
storm and settled in to a DVD. Day 54 Destination – Aveiro Traveling Direction
