Day 115 - Santa Cruise 'Tenerife, Canary Islands'
We pulled up our anchor
on 14th of November at 07:15am and headed for Santa Cruise, Still more work to be
done on the boat, I made a water catcher, cheaper than a water maker but then
it needs to rain. We also spent time on just checking and double checking
everything. Special
comments by Fiona: I immediately regretted the night before
the moment I woke. We had drinks with our friends from T Rex, Once we got out of the
confused sea state we had a dream sail with 25 knots behind us the whole way.
A phone call from mum and Denji mid sail made me feel slightly better. We
arrived to the packed marina just before dark. Santa Cruise was
surprisingly bigger than I expected. It was another busy city but what I liked
about it was that it is set amongst huge rocky hills. Ben and I didn’t really
see much of Santa Cruise as once again we spent our time on the boat doing
final (geez I hope so) preparations. Day 115 Destination – Traveling Direction –
