We pulled up our anchor Sunday 11th of January, 2009 at 08:01 and headed for The Saints, Guadolupe 15:52.49N 61:35.91W

Today was one of those days, the one where every thing goes wrong. To begin with I caught a massive Tuna Mackerel first thing in the morning only to land it, gut it and then drop it over the side. After making sure Fi was going to be OK on her own I dived off the boat and swam down into the deep blue after my prized catch. But I had no joy, it was a big loss and a real shame that such an amazing creature could go to such waste.

T-Rex were not doing so good either, they ran over a fishing pot and had to go over the side and then as they sailed into harbor there engine would not start. I in my wisdom launched the dinghy and motored out to them and hopped onboard to assist in sailing onto anchor. As I landed the dingy onto T-Rex it filled with water and my handheld VHF radio came sailing out in to the ocean. Another casualty of the day and never to be seen again. We did manage to sail onto anchor though.

To top off everything when we got up the next morning I found my dingy floating upside down with the out board still attached. Luckily after stripping it down and giving it a good soaking of WD-40 it still works.
