We untied at 9:36AM
Saturday the 2nd of August and headed back down the Tamar River
for 9 Kt Mile’s out into the channel. We set course for Fowey 50:20.05N
4:37.83W
Craig was keen as
mustard and could not wait to get behind the helm after a quick breakfast of
the Kellogg’s famous special K.
It was a long day with
the wind on the nose the whole way, having to tack back and forth. We arrived
into Fowey about 5PM, as we sailed past the cross on the rocks we reefed in a
bit of sail not knowing what was round the corner in such a brisk wind but all
was well as we arrived into another stunning harbor famous for its bone china.
We moored up along side another boat. Planned our route for the morning made
dinner and all went to bed.
