Mojo to Fiji    Its the Final Countdown      Blog 12

All the countdown conundrums arriving at once and the list is consuming

Only 2 waypoints left
only 200 nautical Miles to go
less than 2 days to go
What time to arrive restraints
Lack of shelter to arrive early
All things have come in to play and the biggest concern is that we cannot enter Savusavu Bay and the Quarantine area unaided and the Fijian Navy only work 08:00 and 17:00 so it must be a part time job or they do not have any torches, but we will go with that.

So our plan is at 19:00 this evening we will slow the boat to 4 Knots for the remainder of the trip, this will or should give us a more stable situation and we will take advantage of that and rest before arriving, normally we would be tying up and out for a celebratory passage night, on arrival in Savusavu we are met by the Navy and escourted to the quarantine zone, tied up to palm trees, the boat that is, swab tested and have to remain onboard until the results are announced.
Still dinner and a few sherberts will be a welcome break.

We put our calender forward and our clocks back last night which was for a time really confusing until all timepieces on board were the same, so we now know what time happy hour is in Fiji and can arrive on time once cleared.

Well its Midnight and we are still going West past Cakaugalu or Duff Reef and Wailagilala Island of the Lau or Eastern Group, we will then enter the passage and do 3 to 5 knots for 24 hours which will get us to Savusavu for 08:00 Friday 24th September 2021.
