Mojo blog 09

I awoke to realise it was Friday 13th we are not superstitious on this boat what…………….
In a few day frenzy to get spare parts ordered, blogging and sending emails I had forgotten to check on the remaining minutes on our satellite phone, this was reminded to me by the robotic booming voice of a remote American female telling me “ You have zero minutes on this account”. We normally email Nippy Networks and tell them to add more minutes, the skipper had forgotten and the realisation that it would be at least a few days before someone maybe realised why we were not communicating,

I broke the news to Paul our stalwart crew and awaited his reaction, well we know were we are and that’s the main thing.
By the close of the weekend we should have 1000 miles remaining and possibly be at our destination by the following weekend.

We live in Hope, and for anyone who doesn’t know where that is, it’s a small village outside Pontesbury in the county of  Shropshire and in the centre of the village is a traffic sign warning of frost the sign is there 365 days a year, they are obviously more prepared or should that read prepaid than we are.

I want to say over and out, but I don’t have any minutes/
We will send this as soon as someone realises, we are off grid.

Scuppered Skipper and the First mate.
