The Black Ball
All on board now fully functonal after a slight
seasick start,last night the wind left us with the only option of starting the
engine, not only does this burn diesel, it makes for a noisy night for those
sleeping or resting.
Little or no moon made for the world as a black
ball with no horizon, the top half full of amazing stars and the bottom half
showing phospherescence through the night , it has to be seen to be
believed.
Today we have had light winds which has given the
opertunity to run differing sail configurations whilste sailing at 5
knots, and less, with an anticipated 5 day trip everuone is settled once
again to the daily chores of ocean sailing.
No telephone no wifi and no problem.
