After Athens we headed for the Cyclades and so far have had stops at the islands of Kea, Kithnos and Mikonos. August is peak time for sailing in Greece and everywhere is very busy. We need to start looking for a mooring at 4pm as all the little harbours end up completely full and can be quite noisy. The harbours are always in the middle the little towns and you usually have tables and chairs from the tavernas on the quayside with people eating right beside you. Mikonos is typical: a pretty town with lots of churches and little white houses tumbling down the hillside towards the sea.
