Our enforced 3 day stay at Ormos Milopotamon at the island of Ios turned out
to be rather good fun. We enjoyed excellent shelter even though the winds
were gusting up to 40 knots most of the time. We were able to get ashore and
enjoyed lounging around on the beautiful beach and having lunch in one of
the many tavernas. When we finally left Ios, we motored to the island of
Naxos for shopping, water and a major laundry session. By now, the northerly
winds had dropped and our cruise continued to the islands of Paros, Serifos,
Sifnos and Milos.
Andrew and Jacquie particularly enjoyed the lunchtime stops which normally
included a snorkel in the crystal clear water.
Our plan is now to work our way back to Santorini, from where J & A fly back
home on Tuesday.
