Hi all, we are still in the UK waiting for our
daughter Susie to come up with the goods. The midwife told her a date of
February 5th, Susie's birthday, so in the meantime while waiting I am surfing
the net, thinking of things to buy or might need in the future aswell as items
on board I don't need or require any longer.
I must say first Chaser 2 is in the Golf
of Cariaco, Venezuela. I will be back there on 18th February for just under 4
weeks, then I return to UK and Spain for 8 weeks before we Yvonne and
I go back to Venezuela and continue our travels and adventures. So the
smaller items I can bring back to Europe when I return, to post to
wherever.
The first item is a hand operated Pur 35
watermaker, its a few years old but has never been used. We have tried it and
pickled it and it works fine. We bought it to put in our grab bag for our Trans
At crossing. I am looking for 200 pounds sterling for it.
The second item we also bought for our Trans At
crossing. It's a Simrad wheelpilot W32 suitable Simrad says for a boat up to
about 42ft. It's brand new, still in the box and never used, of course we have
tried it to make sure it does work. We sailed double handed across the Atlantic
so an autopilot is essential. We have a Raymarine integrated autopilot onboard,
this wheel pilot was purely bought in case of failure. I am looking for around
500 pounds sterling for that. We feel we don't require a spare pilot any longer
as our sailing involves nothing more than a maximum of 3 or 4 day sails. These
two items I can bring back to Europe and post on.
The third item is a Fischer Panda 240 volt
4KW generator, for reasons I won't go into now I ended up with two,
this one has done 183 hours only. It is complete with the wiring loom, the
control box, fuel pump, and control panel and works perfectly. I been carrying
around for 2 years and not been anywhere long enough to sell it, and apart from
the weight it takes up a lot of room. It is just over 2 years old now but
was only in use for 6 months. If you're interested I'll explain. You can email
