 Yvonne looks a little
overdressed walking along this beautifull Carriacou beach, but we'd had a swim,
got changed and were on our way to a small bar/restaurant just off the beach to
the right of this picture. It was called Hardwood, don't know why, but we had a
lovely meal for around 60EC$ about 18 euros including a few beers. We
walked back into Tyrrel Bay about 2100hrs to wear off some of the
calories. Back at the jetty, we jumped into our dingy and headed out to
Chaser, anchored in the bay. We watched the sunset while sipping an appropriate
rum and something before going down to prepare or the morning
departure

Come morning, we lifted anchored and made our way to Grenada, we passed some
interesting islands at 12.18.00N 61.37.40W, there is an exclusion zone that we
are very slightly east of. Apparently under water there is an active volcano
called 'Kick 'em Jenny', which now and again lets off some steam. It doesn't
happen often, but if it did, you wouldn't wanna be there. So we passed about a
mile from its centre, that's enough if it's not blowing, (so I'm
told)
In the foto you can see
The Sisters in the background, with the coastline of Grenada in the distance. In
the foreground is a Rasta we come across offering to show us the way
in!
