After having my laptop stolen in Spain, I now have a replacement enabling
me to continue with a blog that has been on hold for a while; since our flight
to Europe to see family in December.
So this is what all the fuss is about Evie Marie,
our daughter Susie first baby, born 17th February 2009. I told Susie and
Billy it can only get worse from here in because she is such a good baby. Cries
only when she wants some food or has a wet nappy. She sleeps all through the
night, obviously Evie is very content with her new parents, they certainly do a
good job looking after her.
Yvonne and I return to Venezuela in about 10 days,
it has been good seeing the family, Yvonnes Dad in UK, James and Cristina, they
came to visit around Christmas, Rob and Berny living in Spain and of course
Susie Billy and Evie, who we've spent a lot of time with because we needed to
help them move home from UK to Spain. Then to get them settled and try and help
get them and Rob working as things are not so good at the moment, apparently
nobody has any money because there is a recession but work is now coming in, and
everyone seems to be carrying on as normal, so fingers crossed.
We are looking forward to returning to Chaser2,
getting her back in the water, meeting our friends and continuing with our
project and travels through Venezuela and the Caribbean. Of course we'll miss
the kids and Evie but that'll make their visit to us in October/November all the
more rewarding and enjoyable.
Not sure when we'll see James next, he is currently
in the Galapogos Islands en route to Tahiti aboard the 35 metre classic sailing
schooner Seljm, James is the engineer.
So all for this family episode of my blog,
until the next time
