We left Rodney Bay at 10.30, after having water / electricity meters read and paid for, and then refuelling (3rd in line in the queue)

Short hop down to Marigot Bay (8.6 Nm) which we did under headsail only, reaching at speed 3.5 – 7.9 Kn in winds 8-22Kn.  Arrived at 12.00 to be met by a boat boy sent to look out for us by Sid and Peggy, who led us to a mooring in the inner lagoon of Marigot.  Very sheltered, very secure but also a bit like being at crossroads in a city, with boats and ferries back and forth the whole time.

Visited “Limin Time” and took Sid & Peggy and Ken & Marianne for ice creams ashore.  Then ate with them later at Dolittle’s Restaurant (Marigot Bay is where they shot the Caribbean scenes for the original film version of Dr. Dolittle with Rex Harrison and Samantha Eggar).

We’ll probably stay here until the weekend before moving on again.
