Waiting

Waiting – just waiting.

Pretty much organised – just waiting.
Plan is (was?) to have a practice sail this afternoon – need the crew to get used to some of the functions and also make sure all is working.  Watermaker supplier visited us yesterday, so we re-commissioned the watermaker and tested it – all good. But the hydrogenerator has not been tested since the Watt & Sea man rewired the plug to shorten it – so that needs testing.
But – fruit and veg was due to be delivered at 12.00 – now 13.30 so the chances of getting out today are diminishing unless we do it in the dark.
Tomorrow meat is due to come – again mid-day so that could also delay testing.
At least we have refuelled – by hand from our cans, and then refilled the cans.  Took 23 litres;  we last refuelled in Roscoff and looking at the log have probably done about 7 hours motoring since then, the first 3 of which were into a pretty stiff breeze and swell, so that suggests about 3 1/3 litres per hour for average motoring;  so with 200 litres on board that gives us 60 hours motoring – lets hope we don’t need that.
