So after a rather stress free morning we are now into the depths of the biscay... our depth gauge is unreadable, with the charts suggesting we are in depths of 4300m and still increasing! The swell has therefore increased in wavelength, but not amplitude. The breeze is a lovely 20 knots at 170 degrees. So some pleasant sailing despite the lack of sunshine. ETA for arriving in Gran Canaria is sometime on the 3rd September, possibly the 2nd if we get a shift on!!
