Slowly getting to a state of being ready.
Last member of the crew arrived yesterday; Andrej flew in to Gran
Canaria from the UK, and joined us at about midday – pretty shattered, he’d been
up until after 3.00 am before setting off.
Provisioning going well – ordered all the meats from the market – they will
be deep frozen and delivered to the boat on Saturday, when they will go in the
refridgerator and help to keep things cool for longer. Veg also ordered
from the market, to be delivered tomorrow. Nadine’s native language proved
invaluable in all of this.
Than after the routing/weather seminar and some lunch (late) a quick trip
to Carrefour. Three and a half hours later we left will two trolleys
stacked full, into the car and back to the marina. Finally a late dinner
at Pier 19 and then bed. But at least the provisioning is now out of the
way. Stowing it is today’s challenge.
Just had the final safety check on the lifejackets – all good so now to
clear the remaining jobs. |
