Title: Photos from Rabat, Morocco (& Gibraltar)

We’re on our third day in Rabat, Morocco, having been finally berthed after our onboard “medicals” (yes, we passed), sniffer dog searches etc…. and it is wonderful to be here.  The marina is secure, the locals are so friendly and welcoming, the colours, smells and bustle are magical.  We have blistered feet after hours walking around Sale and Rabat, through the medina, the Kasbah, and enjoying the market street life, drinking vast quantities of mint tea.  Shane and Jon have re-rigged Talulah’s reefing lines, and sadly, due to wind/weather window,  we will probably have to leave for our 4 day passage to the Canaries this Sunday 1st November …

The Atlas Mountains in Morocco across the straight of Gibraltar from the rock

I’m not saying I’m getting irritated, but you tourists are seriously getting on my nerves!

Ships in the mist (this is what we sailed through)

More of the Atlas Mountains from top of the rock, Gibraltar

After a hard day nicking sandwiches, a monkey needs his rest!

Morocco at last  …hustle and bustle, wonderful smells and colours

Atmospheric street scene in Rabat

Maybe if I cut a bit off this corner, I could fit it onto Talulah

In the Kasbah, within the Medina walls of Rabat.

More of the same

Shane and Jon contemplate changing the reefing lines… which they did
