Anchored in the lovely harbour of a the very rustic
looking village of Castellamare.The girls went ashore to do a "reckie".Checked
out some lovely fish restaurants.This place is very much a local holiday resort
with numerous little power crafts dodging all over the place.We thought we would
stay here a couple of days due to its rustic charm.
Alas this was not to be as it seems that Firework
frenzy is following us around this coastline.Yet again they were erecting along
the mole various firework paraphernalia.Mark went into the harbour office to
enquire what the cost would be to moor along side until firework display was
over.The guy in the office telephoned someone and then came back with a price of
150 Euros for the night! Well Mark told him in no uncertain terms what he
thought of this Mafia price and yet again we up anchored and made our way along
to the next Bay to Balestrade.The girls were most disappointed as they had
picked out a nice seafood restaurant,Oh! Well hopefully there will be other
opportunities.
