Subject: Samantha on Holiday before her tour

It really is a delight waking up to clear skies and crystal clear water, having a swim before breakfast and then deciding on the days itinerary.
We did the usual and took Rob and Samantha to the 'mud baths' where they coated themselves admirably and returned quite smelly to the boat.Have now bought a Cobb BBQ and decided to check it out by having a BBQ chicken, which was very tasty.
Mark and I repaired the trampoline and we have made quite a good job of it, althought we do say it ourselves
The next day saw us taking an early morning stroll along the beach to a spit where you can walk across to the end of Formentera and what is locally known as 'sculpture Island'.There we added to the sculpture that we had started with Trinity.Samantha and Rob really liked the relaxing feel that the island has so we have decided to stay an extra night,we gave the controller a melon to keep him happy,he is the guy who looks after the mooring buoys.
That evening had an urgent call from Chance to say that Trinity was being admitted overnight for tests as she had a rip roaring temperature and abdo pain. She assured me that I did not need to return to UK as Trinity was comfortable and in the investigation stage.Had quite a sleepless night as not sure what to do,have no internet connection where we are but are able to get ashore in Formentera so have decided to sail there and await news from Chance.Spoke with Trinity from her hopsital bed and she says she feels much better,so that makes me feel much better.

18th August.
Sailed to Cala Saona for lunch again beautiful clear water with a sandy bottom. We had a pleasant couple of hours just swimming and relaxing then decided to sail back to Formentera. On arrival at the mooring buoys we found to our dismay that the buoy controller was the same one that we had met the last time we had visited and poved to be very unhelpful..We found him sunbathing on one of the yachts and ignored our arrival. We decided to anchor as we did not like the look of the state the mooring buoy allocated to us was in.
Took Samantha and Rob in Port Savina where they did a recce, they have decided to hire bike tomorow to tour the island.
A call from Chance informed us that Trinity was still being observed as no firm diagnosis had yet been made.Getting a little apprehensive as Chance is due to come out in a couple of days,so looking at my options.

20th August

Staying in Formentera until we hear further news from Chance re Trinity, Temperature now under control and may be discharged in a couple of days so no urgent need to go to UK.Nice to hear Trinity on phone ,very reassuring.

21st August -29th

Sailed to Ses Salinas in preparation to picking up Chance tomorrow.
Picked up Chance bright and early from the beach.
 All aboard missing one!

After a quick swim and some catch up chat went out for a meal so Chance could have her black rice!

23rd August sailed to the island of Espalmador and anchored close in to the beach in sand.Trinity now home and being spoilt by Busty.
