Yesterday sailed into Thomas Maestro to top up with water, had a little bit of a wait as boats were waiting beside the quay for the lifting bridge to open. The guy in the tower is very prompt and the bridge is lifted exactly on schedule and is lowered in exactly the same fashion, so it is quite amusing to watch the tail enders trying to get through as the bridge slowly lowers.Have not seen any mishaps yet!
The harbor master let us moor alongside for a couple of hours to enable us to have a quick look around the marina and do a little bit of shopping in Hypercore. We treated ourselves to a lovely lunch of roast chicken and grilled fish, it was really delicious. We have not eaten ashore for about 18 days so it really was a treat.
The weather is really 'hotting' up now and we tend to spend the days in our 'cossies' which is great as we now have very little washing to do.We are as you can see able to log on to the wifi network here just outside TM.
Today went for an early morning swim and are going to set sail for los Narejos which is not far from the local airport.Trinity joins us on Wednesday as she has now finished 'uni' having passed all her 1st year exams.Well done Trinity!
Apparently you can go ashore in your tender and walk to the airport which is about a mile away!!.
Lily becoming much braver now and jumps into the tender to be taken ashore. She is a bit like a child though as on the return journey to the boat she sits up front urging us to hurry up as she is tired and once to get back onboard for a rest!!
