Crossing the Patras Suspension Bridge on our return to Messolonghi.Weather has improved quite a bit in this area and we arrived back to sunshine at last. Now its back to getting down to some more jobs on the boat!

'Wild One' had arrived into the marina since our departure and it was good to meet up and catch up with them since we last saw them.
Mark spent the next day trying to find a place to buy a tool that he can use to take the element out of our waterheater as it keeps shorting and we obviously have a leak from somewhere.

5th November.

Weather was warm enough to take a picnic and go for a swim off the point. The sea temperature was not too bad quite bracing but very envigorating, met a couple of Germans from the marina who were also taking advantage of the weather.
Saturday , market day, how the week goes!! A group of us met up after the market at Kostas coffee house and then we headed back to the marina to start cleaning the stainless steel!!
Matt and Annie wanted to know where they could swim so the next day as the sun was shining we decided to take another day off and show them The Point. We all went off on our bikes for the 20 minute cycle and then Annie and I were the only ones brave enough to have a swim!
After a fruit picnic we decided to visit the local Taverna for an Oozo before we returned to the marina, lovely watching the sun go down!!

8th- 12th November
Resumed  my early morning walk with Jean the American lady, lovely time of day to go for a quick walk as everywhere seems so tranquil.Jean suggested that we might be interested in joining the Photographic Group which was being held at 5pm so I said we would come along for a taster.
As it was Matts Birthday we were invited to join them for a meal at the  'Tablecloth' restaurant. Either our stomachs are getting smaller or they serve huge portions at this restaurant as no one could finish their meal and we all ended up having our left overs put in a 'Doggie bag'to take home with us.Whilst we were at the restautant we had an excited call from Trinity who was in the process of buying her air ticket on line to Canada and wanted to let us know as she was pressing the confirm button!! We were elated for her as she seemed to have got a good deal from British Airways.
We invited our neighbours Angie and Keith over for a drink as they have been really helpful,it turns ot that Keith was a fireman stationed at Reading and was one of the first on the scene at the fire at Windsor, small worl which seems to be getting smaller.
