Well what a small world this
sailing lark is.Sailed into Vathi bay only to find 'Far Out' anchored close to
the harbour wall.We have not seen Rick and Barbara since our trip to
Panama.
Once we had gotten ourselves sorted out they came
over in their dinghy to catch up with all that has happened since we last
met.They have been here for quite a few days and so are keen to show us around
the quaint town.

 Whatever tickles
your fancy!!!!The island of Ithaca isbelieved to be the mythical
home of Homers Odysseus.Much of the area was devastated by an earthquake in 1953
and many of the villages were rebuilt.
Had a pleasant stroll around the very pretty narrow
streets soaking up the atmosphere.
The next day went off in the dinghy with Rick and
Barbara to one of the many coves to see if we could find some octupus to catch
water very clear but quite cold.Unfortunately we were unsuccessful in our quest
so it looks like salad for supper!!!
