Still waiting for weather to improve so that we can get on our way to Graciosa.Harbour master informed us that he had been sent an urgent "weather phenomenon" stating that the coastal waters were experiencing very large seas, waves up to 4 metres+.We have no choice but to wait it out here, but the area is quite pleasant despite a very dry rugged landscape.Decided to take the local bus further north to the capital ,Rosario, to see what the harbour looks like there in case we need to use it as a bolt hole!
Not much there, very quiet. There use to be a foreign legion post there a couple of years ago but it is now used to accommodate illegal immigrants, of which there are many!
We returned to our boat after a couple of hours as we were a bit worried about the tides and are warps as we are constantly having to alter them due to the overhang on the harbour wall and then it was off to the cultural centre to check the weather, are evenings seem to be spent on the internet getting the most recent weather forecasts.
Did a final stocking up of food etc ready for the off at a moments notice!!

Had a very nice supper on our neighbours boat an Island Packet "Touche", they are heading in the same direction as us.
