Met a nice American woman called Jean who is trying
to organise an early morning walk each weekday.I have decided to join her as I
reallly would like to keep fit plus I will be able to enjoy the early sunsets
and it will also be useful for networking!
The walk takes us along this interesting causeway
and is really quite short about 1hour in total and not hard as the terrain
is quite flat.
   6th October
Winds predicted for Friday so will move Rafiki to a
spot in the inner harbour where we will have more protection.Have now really
started cleaning her and she is begining to look quite good again.Rick and
Barbara want to go to Patra to pick up a hire car so we have decided to take the
trip with them on Friday as long as we have made Rafiki secure.
8th October
Got up early for our bus ride to Patra which takes
about 1 hour.
 Mark at the 'bus station' which doubles as a roadside
cafe.We were quite entertained by the local taxi service
which waits close by,the office is a bespoke telephone that the tax drivers que
up in line to answer the ringing telephone and then drive off in response to the
call!!
