Had to make a last minute rush to the shops for
provisions and Xmas gifts as everyone will be arriving soon.Girls,cat and
boyfriends.
Samantha was really pleased to spend her birthday
with her sisters on dry land and it was great to see Chance and Trinity
again.They had had an extremly amusing time travelling with the cat,
Lily.Iberia had allowed Lily to travel as hand luggage but we did have to
purchase a special carrier which is approved by the airlines.Poor Chance had
lost her voice and was conversing with Trinity using some sort of sign
language.The check in people at the airport had assumed that she was deaf and
for some reason decided to upgrade all of them to Buisness Class.So lucky cat on
her virgin flight travelled buisness class,what a hoot!
On Lilys arrival on the boat she did not quite know
what to make of it all ,poor thing was quite confused.Once we had settled them
all into various cabins etc. we all went out for a birthday celebration dinner
and a good natter to catch up on all the news.
Christmas eve we are having a family gathering with
all the Teneriffe family in true Canarian style so that should be fun. The
main event is celebrated on the 6th January the day of the 3 kings and that is
when presents are exchanged and the children open their gifts.
Christmas Day 25th we will spend on the boat and
have a traditional English Xmas but without the Turkey!
