Had a good sail over to Ibiza sailing most of the
way left at 7.30 and arrived Cala Longa at\around 1700hrs saw a couple of
dolphin enroute.Anchored in 4metre over sand and weed, although holding is
good  we experienced quite  a
rollie night from katabatic winds as the cala is surrounded by deep sided
hills.
Up early the next day and made our way to
Espalamador to the mooring buoys which we have reserved.
On entering the bay of Espalmadour we were
surprised to meet up with 'Amazing Grace' who were moored up to our buoy! After a
little cheeky banter they moved off to anchor just in front of us.The bay here
is quite beautiful, long white sands with crystal clear waters but unfortunately
not much in the way of fish.Swam ashore and resumed our 'land
legs'.
Met up with some old American hippies ,Rick and
Barbara, who happen to be neighbours of 'Amazing Grace' in Florida, what a small
world we live in.
Had an impromptu gathering on the beach for
sundowners which ended up quite late with various people falling in the
water.Trinity and I swam back to the boat at the end of the evening
session.
The next day Sunday saw us visiting the 'salt
flats' where we covered ourselves with the very smelly, therapeutic mud after
which we quickly walked back to the sea to wash off. Quite funny people parade
up and down the beach looking like little niggers letting the mud dry.If you are
really brave you dive into the mud in the nude, the Germans it seems prefer this
style. We are still a little modest and actually did not relish the thought of
sitting in the 'unappealing spa' and bearing all!
That evening Rick and Barbara from  'Far out
waves' came aboard for drinks and a music session. It seems we are all heading
off tomorrow to the same area of mooring buoys in Ensanada del Cabrito.

Monday 13th July.
Had quite a rollie with winds 18-20 knts.Motored
over to the other side of the bay to Ensanada del Cabrito, had some difficulty
picking up the mooring buoy due to the winds and swell but managed it in the end
followed by 'Far out waves' who encountered the same problems.
Not able to get off boat at present due to winds
hoping it will die down soon!!!
