what a palaver! Yard would not put us back into the
water until they physically had the money in their account despite the fact that
one of the largest marine insurers in the world had confirmed that a bank
transfer had been completed.Had to wait nearly 3 days which was very
tedious!
Also when Mark was doing his pre engine checks
he found that the engineers had not put enough oil in the saildrives.On the
telephone to call the engineers back to rectify problem.Eventually set out at
11.30 am and were able to sail all the way to Torrevieja.Sea state was slight
and we had a good SE wind with us, we were cruisisng at 8-9knts with an
apparent wind speed of 15knts, was a really pleasant sail arrived to anchor
just outside the port opposite the beach in 5m over sand and stone.Will
probarbly stay here tomorrow nad be on our way again on Saturday, really depends
how we fare tonight!.
