Well Busty was able to get his flight on time, bus service is very good from here and very regular.Constantly checking anchor as sea bed here not very good for anchoring, diving down everyday to make sure we are not dragging.Met Terri the diver, who has been here for 27 years and laid all the mooring buoys in the bay.He was given 2  weeks to move his moorings to the starboard side of the harbour or else they would have been dismantled,no reason given despite the fact that he pays the equivalent to council tax for them.He informs us that the starboard side does not have good holding and that the port side was much better being mainly mud. This in effect means we can't both get off the boat at the same time, which is a bit of a pain as one of us has to par take in anchor watch!!!
There are some floating pontoons to the port side of the harbour which were destroyed by a storm last year and 70 yachts were damaged.Terri says its quite a mess and the port authorities do not know what to do about the situation.
We played the spectators yesterday as a motor cruiser tried to anchor next to us and unbeknown to the cruiser had become entangled in a mooring buoy.We alerted them to this fact but unfortunately the mooring buoy had wrapped itself around one of the props. We told them about Terri the diver who lives on a catamaran in the harbour and he came to the rescue and was able to dive down and cut the buoy free. The cruising  yacht were very grateful and we have been invited aboard for drinks.
Monday morning and Yanmar engineer says he can't  do work on engine until Friday and that we will definitely have to sail to Palma for the lift out,so we are stuck here until at least one of the engines are serviceable! Oh! Well it could be worse at least the sun is shining and the scenery here is quite nice just a pity that we can't get off the boat together.
