This waiting game is still on and we are both
getting very hot and bored, haven't really been able to enjoy our stay here as
have to be quite vigilant on watching over the workers as they are a bit manyana
,manyana.Things are moving on though we had a slight problem with the mechanics
as Mark was not satisfied with their completed work on the rudders.Both very
stiff and the starboard rudder not in alighnment with the Port side
rudder.Had some so called expert to look at the completed work and he was
in agreement so mechanics were called back to sort it out, not too happy but hey
they are getting paid, and very well from the insurers!
The temperature here in the yard has been 34 plus
so quite draining.
We are starting to re victual the boat whilst we
can as we will soon be back on the anchor.Both looking forward to the day when
Rafiki is back where she belongs in the water! Have not done too
much on the social scene as the area is a bit spartan and difficult to venture
out from, Spanish is improving though begining to understand more can't say the
same for the verbal though!
