Trying to cramm as much as possible into our visit to Athens so started  again very early after a light breakfast. We are getting quite good at walking into the centre of Athens, it is about a three mile walk into the centre but is quite a pleasant walk and much nicer than trying to squeeze onto the buses.
Today was looking around for bits for the boat,Athens is full of hardware shops and chandleries that are jam packed with stuff, a bit like Aladdins Cave!
Ate at the famous Kostas Kebab stand, we were amazed at the queues forming outside and that was the only way that we found it as we were wondering what the people were queing for!

The views from the top of the Acropolis were fantastic, and here we are queing for Kostas famous Kebabas with his signature tomato sauce and hot pepper, really tasty.Eating 'al fresco'.Worth the trouble of looking for this place, reputation is indeed valid.

Left Athens the next day and travelled towards the Corinth Canal bridge, which apparently is more expensive than the Panama Canal to travel through by ship.

Again we nearly missed this sight as it is crossed in the blink of an eye by road.
