The next morning which was Sunday we went along to
see the changing of the Gaurds which we though would be quite novel! We found
out that Sunday is the best day of the week to go and see this at 11 am as they
do the whole ceremony.They do change the gaurds every hour of every day but it
is a shortened form so we just happened to be lucky that it coincided with our
visit.
   The march that they perform is alongside the 'Tomb
of the Unknown soldier',which is situated just outside the Houses of
Parliament.The march looks very awkward and unusual and reminded us of prancing
horses!!!
   Our visist coincided with the registration of the
Athens Marathon which was taking place that day, here Mark is not quite sure if
he should compete!!!
   We were amazed at this policewomans outfit as she
had on quite high heeled shoes!!!
