Now in Curaçao after a great week or so in Bonaire.
Plenty to write about but currently preoccupied with planning the next few days as a major depression is beginning to develop that looks like heading unusually far south. Our options are to sit tight and see how things develop over the next week or head around to Santa Marta in Colombia and get there ahead of any bad weather coming through.
Curaçao is not as nice to stay in as Bonaire and we don’t fancy another week here. Also staying here for another week will eat into our time in Colombia. So, even though the wind is stronger than we would like, it begins to quieten down a bit on Monday and Tuesday - the time we should be rounding the top of Venezuela/Colombia (where it can be a difficult passage). If we leave on Sunday morning and the weather isn’t too bad we will keep close to the coast once across to Colombia with the option to stop at a few places en route.
