Today sort of came and went, we went into the night motoring, woke up motoring and are still motoring. The wind has been up to as much as 3kts!! Seas are oily flat with the occasional snake skin ripple, no other boats, no planes, no dolphins or whales, a couple of birds, lots of flying fish but little else.

We mostly read, I have done a few jobs – provisioning is going well, we had a “third of the way breakfast” and lunch was Sashimi, accompanied by wasabi, soy and of course rice. We considered stopping and going in for a swim, but the swell is too big – around 2-3 metres and I felt it would be dangerous trying to get back on to the swimming platform, plus it’s 4,500 metres deep here as well, so no chance of putting your feet down if you get tired, but Di is determined to swim when we get to “halfway point”.

1,304M to go to Bridgetown, Barbados.
