128.6 (5.35) on the water tacking back and forth. 9.6 hrs engine: so far 507 mi
toward the 848 to San Cristobal
Wednesday same conditions but wind picked up
slightly 5 to 8 kn , Fridge working again, either “electronic module brain F...”
or Freon clout.... Back in fishing mode
Wed night :after Tuesday fireworks , we had not the
popcorn that goes along but the pop squall and rain , popping all around and
thanks again to the radar we were able to somewhat dodge them.
Today Thursday start with wind SE 15 to 17 kn,
Swell south 6’ and waves 3’ on a reach, spray on deck , side curtains up,
speed 6.6 to 7kn. reefed main reefed genoa.
Fuel on board : 39 gal in tank + 10 x 5 gal cans on
deck . We burn 1/2 gal/hr at 1600 rpm and 5+ kn . down 20 gallons. So far
so good.

Mercredi, meme conditions mais le vent est rentre
un peu 5 a 8nd. le frigo remarche soit le module electronic, soit un
blocage dans le circuit du freon. Retour en mode peche.
La nuit deniere: apres les feux d’artices de
mardi, nous avons eu droit non pas aux popcorns qui vont avec la fete mais
a des pop grains ,tout autour avec vent et pluie.Grace au radar, encore,
nous avons pu les eviter..
Aujourd’hui Jeudi, on demarre avec du vent de 15 a
17 nd , une houle du sud 1.8 m, et des vagues de 1m, au travers, avec embruns
sur le pont. les rideaux de cote ont ete grees. vitesse 6.6 a 7 nd
Grand voile et genoa arises. Capacite gasoil:
150l dans reservoir principal + 10 x 20l en jerrycans sur le pont moins
80l pour l’instant. Tout va bien a bord |
