Typical transit start with the Gatuns locks between 6 and 8 pm local time ( here no daily saving time –1hr US + 6hr France) Night on a mooring buoy on the lake, then mid following day  the centennial bridge and  between 2pm and 4pm,  the Miraflores locks on the pacific side. Traffic is 24/7,  very well oiled machine set up by the US run by Panama now and talking to locals that the only operation that is working flawlessly  in Panama

While waiting for a rudder (on it’s way) we are  taking good care of LEGACY  and are entertained by a little fire on  some exploding then burning down building  (left one was totally destroyed)   not too far from the marina ( 400 yards- down wind...) Shutting down everything for a day (electricity & internet) no one hurt. More to follow

Transit typique  : depart des ecluses de Gatuns entre 6 & 8 dans la soiree ( + 6 hr in France) Nuit sur grosse bouee sur le lac, suivie par au milieu de la journee suivante le pont du Centenaire ,ensuite les ecluses de Miraflores dans l’apres midi (2 a 4 pm) sur le cote pacifique.  Une machine bien huilee faite  par les US et maintenant Panama. Parlant avec des locaux . c’est la seule chose qui marche sans probleme En attendant notre  gouvernail (safran), nous nous occupons de Legacy et nous sommes au spectacle avec incendie, explosion et destruction totale du batiment sur la gauche...400 metres sous le vent de la marina, coupant electrite et internet pour un jour. Pas de blesses. A suivre...
