We are currently anchored in Discovery bay
18:27.790 N, 077:24.056 W, 20 miles West of Ocho Rios.Four hours down wind
sailing in 20 kn, wing on wing, swell was just behind and we were trolling
a couple of lines .... Same result no fish....
There is a bauxite plan near
by and a loading terminal on the west side of the bay, On the East side we
have nice little resorts with white sandy beaches .From here, we will go to
Montego Bay...
We are watching next week weather for the next leg
after Jamaica,a 4 days to Providencia island (Colombia) but nothing

Nous sommes actuellement au mouillage dans
Discovery Bay , 20 miles Ouest de Ocho Rios. 4 heures de vent arriere dans 20nds
de vent , voiles en ciseaux et la houle bien derriere.Nous avions 2 lignes de
peche avec le meme resultat....Rien.
Il y a une usine de bauxite non loin avec quai de
chargement sur le cote ouest de la bay. A l’est il y a une plage bordee de
petites residences de vacances. D’ici nous irons a Montego Bay...
Nous regardons les fichiers meteo de la semaine
prochaine pour notre prochaine traversee apres la Jamaique, 4 jours pour aller a
Providencia Island( Colombie) mais rien de prometteur...
