We left Rodney Bay on Tuesday mid-day having spent the morning in customs getting the wire and switch o.k.'d, we sailed down to Soufriere and picked up a buoy at Hummingbird anchorage, just by the bat cave! Went snorkelling straight off the back of the boat it was superb we where accompanied by a whole shoal of sergeant fish they followed us every where. We had a lovely meal ashore
and back to the boat by 22.30hrs just got on board and the next mooring which had a cat on it came swinging into us - so spent some time fending off the other boat with the people on board , then we decided we weren't going to keep apart so we rafted up so we could have some sleep -HA no such luck, all the mossies in St Lucia must have got into the boat while we where messing about with fenders, the bats where not doing their job well
we swatted the last one at 02.45hrs or so we thought at 5a.m. I awoke to buzzing in my ear so off we went again - but we got it.
We left the Pitons at 06.30hrs and had a very interesting day sailing and motoring
sheltering from the downpours and sailing into Admiralty Harbour Bequia at about
14.00hrs seems a nice place- will let you know
