We spent Christmas and New year in Antigua and a wonderful time
on xmas day we started with a champagne party accompied b a steel band at Nelsons Dockyard then went on to xmas lunch at a restaurant near by their where 9 of us
all to-gether. In between xmas and new year we did a bit of sight seeing and shopping
then there was another party on new years eve followed by firworks at midnight
New years day we set off up Antigua and anchored in Deep Bay, the following
morning we set off for Barbuda-had a rough 5 hours the sea was all over the place.
Barbuda ia a totally unspoilt island were anchored off Coco Point looking at 4 miles
of pure white sandy beach with hardly any one here. To-day we took a taxi into
the main town of Coddrington (1500 inhabitans total on this island)and then a water trip across a large salt water lagoon
to see the largest colony of breeding frigate birds in the world it was very good
