Before we left Torremolinas, we took a couple more pictures for the
“library”.
A view of the promenade:
And one of Iola in the marina:
They had squeezed us in amongst the megayachts. The one next to us
measured 62 feet, was owned by a Latvian who had kept her there for 4 years, and
was registered in Jersey “for tax reasons”. On the other side was a 120ft
boat with an industrial sized power plant in the back!
We set off as planned, and motorsailed to our anchorage. An
uneventful day apart from my finding the batteries were being overcharged.
A quick tweak on the back of the alternator on one of the engines, and all
returned to normal. We dropped our anchor and it was lovely to jump in the
water and cool off. It is still around 30 degrees C here between 1 and 4
pm, so a swim was definitely in order. An early start tomorrow as we plan
a longish haul to the next marina.
